IT QA Analyst

World Travel Holdings Inc. is seeking an IT Quality Assurance Analyst for its Business to Business (B2B) Division located in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the testing of web applications including our robust booking system, integrated intranet and affiliate consumer websites, as well as signing off on new releases that will include new functionality, fixes and small enhancements. This role will interact with the development team, as well as with operational departments that sell, service and support our business models.

• Ensures clean releases by regression testing existing functionality
• Locates and identifies issues and analyzes their relative significance
• Coordinates with the QA Manager, Business Analysts and Developers on application defects and enhancements to ensure proper escalation and follow up
• Ensures new functionality meets requirements of functional specifications on a consistent basis
• Uses knowledge of systems and technologies, as well as troubleshooting skills to investigate defects in order to determine the potential cause for failed tests
• Provides clear documentation and enforces the use of our internal Project Management and issue tracking system on all issues found

• Bachelor’s Degree or industry experience equivalent to 3+ years in quality assurance testing
• Proven experience testing applications developed on multiple browsers (Edge, Chrome, Firefox, Safari) and devices
• Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills; evidence of strong judgment and analytical ability including: analyzing complex problems, identifying critical elements and alternatives
• Experience in implementing information system solutions to address business needs
• Must be resourceful and a flexible self-starter capable of producing quality work with minimal supervision while meeting designated timelines
• Works methodically and must be able to quickly learn new systems and processes in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment
• Ability to easily shift priorities and multi-task based upon changing company needs
• Performs reasonable standard of output as a member of a highly productive team; the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently, is essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills
• Experience in producing effective documentation
• Ability to maintain focus while conducting repeated tests of all angles of issues
• Computer proficient including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) at an intermediate level
• Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when needed based on release schedule
• Experience with Project Management system such as Scrumwise
• Travel experience a plus
