Overview

World Trave Holdings is seeking an Operations Director for the B2B Division--- CruiseOne and Dream Vacations in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. The Operations Director will collaborate with the VP of Operations to oversee and manage day-to-day travel operations, create and optimize processes, and ensure quality controls while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from various sources (Cognos, Cruise Control, Sugar CRM, etc.), identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize travel-related services, making processes more efficient while enhancing the overall customer experience
  • Work on cost management strategies to ensure that travel-related expenses are within budgetary constraints
  • Perform internal audits and ensure quality controls are effective and adhered to
  • Foster strong relationships with travel partners, suppliers, and our franchise network and follow up timely to their requests
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as IT, marketing, and finance to align travel operations with overall business objectives
  • Address and resolve operational issues promptly and provide effective solutions
  • Fulfill management responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Oversee allocation of resources to ensure proper staffing and support
  • Complete focal review conversations and support your team with their development
  • Ensure team members are adequately trained on industry best practices and company policies
  • Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Hospitality
  • A minimum of three years of operations management experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience driving operational efficiencies
  • Ability to effectively supervise staff both onsite and remote
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
  • In-depth knowledge of travel industry trends, regulations, and technology
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Some travel required; about 20%
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs; advanced Excel skills a must
  • Proficient in travel management software or CRM
  • Efficient use of communication tools such as email, instant messaging platforms, and video conferencing tools
