World Travel Holdings is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) for its B2B Division. As a BDM, you will offer all-encompassing support, expert guidance, and business partnership to our franchise network.


Candidates must be within driving distance of our Fort Lauderdale, Florida office to support monthly events. 


The efforts of the team are focused on organization and growth of their account’s overall performance and customer databases, and expanding each account’s industry, sales, marketing, and product knowledge. The responsibilities of the BDM fall into four key areas of account management: consult and advise; assess and analyze; educate and inspire; support and encourage.

  • Guides franchise owners through identifying their why, and creating short and long term goals
  • Effectively defines and manages accountability for each franchise
  • Recognize/celebrate achievements and milestones of all sizes, acts as a cheerleader and business partner
  • Works closely with Marketing to drive support and awareness of marketing initiatives
  • Leverage, present, and educate on data/performance mgt tools (understands application of key reports)
  • Professionally represents WTH at trade and agent events, provide leadership, instruction, and event management as needed
  • Prepare and deliver relevant, effective presentations
  • Supports training of new franchise owners/associates (class visits and other new owner interaction)
  • Along with Director of Sales, supports WTH events, travels as needed
  • Manages territory budget for meetings/incentives
  • Fields co-op requests, assesses viability/value
  • Develops creative contests, incentives, unique recognition strategies for each territory
  • Provides manager/key stakeholders with recognition opportunities by identifying notable performances


  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Understanding of key supplier relationships (priorities, opportunities, promotions)
  • Demonstrates thorough understanding of resources including the BC, Rallio, CC, TLN, Group Space
  • Skilled listener that easily builds trust allowing for open & honest discussions with accounts and colleagues
  • Mastery of WTH’s support & marketing tools, ability to communicate/educate on them effectively
  • Demonstrated mastery with relationship management (internal and external)
  • Skill with virtual presentation platforms like Zoom
  • Demonstrated skill with sales fundamentals
  • Familiarity with use of CRM system and related tools/reports
  • Available to travel up to 30%
