The ideal candidate that has an excellent understanding of agile software development practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and Feature Driven Development with a highly effective ability to lead cross functional Scrum Teams.

  • Work in conjunction with VP of Software Engineering and Scrum teams to develop and monitor project plans, risk mitigation plans, and project documentation from scope to post implementation
  • Ensure Scrum teams are completing project documentation and deliverables on budget, within scope, and in accordance with standards
  • Responsible for the team of Scrum Masters, Business Analysts, and Application Operational Support teams
  • Train, mentor, and support the agile/scrum teams to effectively follow agile methodology
  • Monitor progress and performance while helping the teams to make continual improvements
  • Bring a data-driven approach to decision making, both in day-to-day activities and when helping others make strategic trade-offs
  • Foster collaboration through Scrum of Scrums to improve communication and remove impediments and dependencies
  • Provide spirited, positive leadership, challenge obsolete practices and question accepted truths
  • Facilitate effective communications between all parties involved in the project and/or work efforts. This will include meetings, correspondence, status reports and other documentation
  • Lead or act as a key contributor to Change Management, Performance Management and Release Management processes
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field required
  • 8+ Years of relevant project leadership experience
  • 3+ years as a Scrum Master
  • Familiarity with project management in one or more IT functional areas a plus, but not required
  • Project Management certification a plus, but not required. Emphasis is on demonstrated use of PMP, Scrum, Agile, etc.
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver end to end solutions
  • Working knowledge of agile tools required. Prefer Scrumwise, but intimate understanding of tools such as Jira, Trello, Scrumwise and demonstrated ability to learn a new tool accepted
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be a resident and live in a US state. We do not currently hire in AK, CA, HI, KY, ND, OH, OR, and PA
