Overview

World Travel Holdings is seeking a Training Specialist with curriculum E-Learning experience for our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. The Training Specialist will conduct live and virtual on boarding of our Dream Vacations franchisees and Cruises Inc. They will support agents during their continued development through ongoing training initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and facilitate Dream Vacations New Franchise live training and virtual training classes as needed
  • Work with subject matter experts in all departments to develop on-demand and live virtual training for the network
  • Create continuing education, on-demand training through a variety of authoring tools
  • Create written training documentation, such as job aids, user manuals, frequently asked questions and training tips for the network
  • Coordinate quarterly webinars with key suppliers, including scheduling, promotion to network, hosting, recording and posting in the learning management system
  • Host owner and agent team meetings
  • Assist in Ship Inspections, Seminars at Sea, FAMS, Regional Training and National Conference
  • Participate in or lead special projects as directed by management

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Business, or other related field
  • Excellent and proven written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills
  • Must be analytical and detail oriented 
  • Extremely well-organized and able to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including: PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience in e-learning content creation and virtual training environments with proven history of self-created materials
  • Must provide work samples that showcase ability to plan and produce content

Preferred  Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of corporate education or teaching experience
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of adult learning theory and facilitation techniques
  • Prior experience with Adobe Captivate, Techsmith Camtasia or other eLearning authoring tools
  • Experience using a Learning Management System
  • Experience and knowledge of the Cruise/Travel Industry preferred
