World Travel Holdings is seeking a Marketing Manager for its Ft. Lauderdale office.  The Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategic development and successful implementation of marketing programs. The successful candidate will have full accountability for carrying out marketing plans working in a data-driven environment. This person must use independent judgment and initiative to organize, manage and successfully complete all tactics. This position is focused on generating sales and revenue through the timely and effective development and execution of multiple marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be a solutions-oriented self-starter with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge share.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, strategically plan, and manage the development of marketing programs and campaigns across various channels. Develop communications and ensure deadlines and goals are met.
  • Marketing initiatives vary and may include tradeshows, social media, email, lead generation, and more.
  • Develop communication strategies across digital, email, and mobile/SMS platforms that build customer engagement and conversions.
  • Primary point person working with vendor partners such as third-party printers, and company store to manage marketing collateral and merchandise.
  • Execute collateral from content creation to print, and work with our printers to coordinate efforts.
  • Maintain marketing policies and guidelines to ensure adherence to our brand guidelines. Update marketing content on our department pages within our Intranet.
  • Out-of-the-box thinking for project ideas, determine where opportunity exists and implement new approaches.
  • Work with our in-house creative team to create on-brand marketing materials. Outline all project requirements and provide detailed project and design direction.
  • Maintain a pulse on our goals to drive strategy, prioritize projects and successfully execute campaigns.
  • Provide reporting and analysis of marketing programs to determine the overall effectiveness and leverage. findings to optimize future marketing efforts. Provide reports and feedback to leadership.
  • Manage our social media and online presence as well as lend support for our network of franchise owners to support their individual strategies. Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights.
  • Support our network of travel agents as the primary point of contact to lend guidance and training.
  • Provide support to the marketing department and assist with daily functions of marketing programs and tools

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in marketing with experience in a management role.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience working with a virtual staff and video conferencing tools a plus.
  • Knowledge of the travel or franchise industry a plus
  • Incredible attention to detail including meticulous proof-reading and fact-checking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills; must be very well-spoken; capable and comfortable in delivering trainings to groups of professionals.
  • A self-starter, who can work independently with little supervision or direction.
  • Experience with Microsoft Computer applications including: MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Website CMS applications and good working knowledge of Google Analytics for tracking and measuring performance, utilizing strong analytical skills. 
  • Experience with project management systems (i.e. Trello.com, Monday.com, etc.)
  • Must be able to work under deadline pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Understanding of social media platforms, digital and print marketing.  
  • Excellent and proven marketing skills to plan, problem-solve, execute and measure marketing campaigns
  • Must possess a sense of urgency in all tasks with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
