    World Travel Holdings is seeking a Director of Talent Development who can contribute their experience, creativity, positive energy and passion as a leader on our Human Resources team. This person will lead our training team primarily supporting the Customer Care organization and will be responsible for all aspects of call center training, including needs assessment and training strategy, curriculum development, classroom facilitation, and results assessment. With our Customer Care team almost 100% work from home across 42 different states and a six week new hire training program delivered 100% virtually, it is important for all candidates to have experience with virtual training programs.

    Responsibilities

    Here’s what will make you a successful Director of Talent Development at World Travel Holdings…

     

    Program Development / Project Management

    • Lead the current annual COMPASS new hire agent training efforts and drive continuous learning initiatives
    • Develop new, innovative ways to incorporate learning for our Customer Care agents
    • Work with senior leadership to understand and address gaps in the management and individual contributor talent bench across the organization

     

    People/Relationship Management

    • Manage and develop the Talent Development team
    • Provide coaching and guidance to all training support through our GPS program
    • Continuously assess team talent and effectively delegate work assignments
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners across all business units

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
    • 5+ years leading a successful virtual training program, preferably in a call center environment
    • Proven ability to develop training curricula for a virtual audience using e-learning applications
    • Working experience of instructional design methodologies such as gaming solutions, micro-learning, videos and podcasts
    • Extensive experience working within a customer service centric organization
    • Demonstrated understanding of frontline leadership skills and training
    • Significant experience working with Learning Management Systems
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, project management and problem solving skills
    • Flexible and responsive to rapid change, strong ability to operate in a dynamic and reactive environment
    • Expertise in working as a business partner to an organization in order to create gap/needs analysis, identify appropriate learning solutions and ability to measure results on key business metrics
    • Willing and able to travel based on business needs
    • Travel/Hospitality industry experience is a plus!
    • Must be a resident and live in a US state; exceptions include AK, CA, HI, KY, ND, OH, OR, and PA.
