World Travel Holdings is seeking a Marketing Specialist to work with our Resort for a Day team out of the Wilmington, MA office. This position will be responsible for coordinating various marketing and promotional projects from beginning to end, reviewing our day pass sites to ensure they are up to date, assisting in weekly/monthly data collection and compiling competitive analysis.  The ideal candidate has a passion for organization, project management and has an eye for detail.  They will have the proven experience supporting a marketing team and possess great communication skills.  

Responsibilities

  • Implement, execute and report on all facets of marketing including social media, display and email marketing for both our consumer and travel agent audience
  • Prepare monthly marketing reports using Google Analytics and Cognos to be used for analysis and/or recommendations of marketing initiatives based on KPI’s
  • Implement and maintain co-op opportunities with our external resort partners including link creation and ROI analysis
  • Oversee ongoing loyalty program with internal partner & house brands; set up and track unique promo codes and the submission of offer details to internal promo teams
  • Review and compile analysis of marketing initiatives for presentation to the Management team
  • Build out new online product pages and maintain existing product pages, as well as verify the accuracy of content on those sites
  • Flexible to wear multiple hats and take on new initiatives in support of a small team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field required
  • 3+ years of experience working in a marketing support role in a fast paced environment
  • Highly organized, self-starter with amazing attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Super tech savvy; strong writing skills, internet navigation and proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Proficiency with design software including Photoshop and InDesign. Design experience preferred
  • Sales Force Marketing experience a plus
  • Ability to present new ideas and opportunities along with solid research, analytical, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic and passion for the travel industry
  • Flexibility to travel up to 15% of the year
