World Travel Holdings is seeking Customer Care Representatives to support our mission of delivering a remarkable experience to our customers.  From the comfort of your home, you will handle inbound sales and customer service calls focusing on one call resolution.  Training begins on Friday, December 15, but don't worry, you'll have several holidays off--- Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day!

Responsibilities

  • Effectively handle 2 - 3 inbound sales and service calls per hour
  • Accurately book and confirm vacation reservations in a timely manner
  • Adhere to our Customer Connection methodology to ensure customers receive a remarkable experience
  • Utilize available resources to efficiently handle customer requests
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance goals and maintain productivity standards
  • Be engaged in team meetings and/or training sessions to build your knowledge base and awareness of company initiatives

Qualifications

  • Experience Level: Customer service and sales experience with high volume customer interaction.
  • Sales and Service: Assertive closing skills to overcome objections and drive sales, and ability to delight customers while creating a remarkable experience.
  • Availability: Be available to complete the 6 week training program and be prepared to work full-time (35-45 hours/week) between the hours of 8am EST and 1am EST, including nights, weekends and holidays. Your schedule will change approximately every 12 weeks within our shift bid process.
  • Reliability: Proven attendance track record of reliability and punctuality.
  • Communication: Amazing phone presence and ability to communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written) in order to win customers over quickly and sell them their dream vacations.
  • Passion: Project a positive attitude and enthusiasm for travel; after all, we’re selling fun!
  • Tech Savvy: Strong typing skills, internet navigation, instant messenger tools, and proficient with Outlook and Microsoft Office. Applicants should be comfortable and ready to adapt to new technology.
  • Receptive: Open to receive coaching feedback and apply learnings.
  • Dexterity: Able to concentrate and sit or stand at a desk while viewing a computer screen repetitively and answering the phone for each scheduled shift.
  • Remote environment: Must be able to provide a designated space for a home office free of distractions, high speed internet connection (Minimum Internet speeds of 2.0 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download) and a separate phone land line (not over the internet) dedicated to this position (see work at home page for more details).  Please note this home office must not be in the same residence as another current World Travel Holdings at home employee.
  • Residency: Must be a resident and live in one of the following states: AL, AZ, AR, CO, CT, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, IA, KS, LA, ME, MD, MA, MI, MN, MS, MO, MT, NV, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, NC, OK, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, and WY.

 

What should you expect?

  • Schedule: Your schedule will change every approximately 12 weeks and it will include nights, weekends and holidays. You must be available to work full-time (35-45 hours/week) between the hours of 8am EST and 1am EST
  • Tech Savvy: You will have multiple browsers open at the same, instant messages popping up, and emails coming through all while navigating through several systems and maintaining an engaged conversation with our customer.
  • Pay: You will receive an hourly base pay plus weekly and bi-weekly incentives based on performance.
  • Training: Must complete and pass 6 weeks of training, as well as, complete on-going training modules to improve product knowledge.
  • Work At Home: It’s convenient, but it doesn’t work for everyone. Although you're home, your role is part of a virtual call center so you must be disciplined, available, and resourceful to meet business demands. You’ll need a space free of distractions with a stable phone and internet connectivity (minimum Internet speeds of 2.0 Mbps upload and 5 Mbps download) in order to assist our customers.
