World Travel Holdings Inc. is seeking a temporary HR Specialist for our Wilmington, MA office. In this role, you will contribute to departmental effectiveness by supporting diverse functions to include employee relations and recruiting.

Responsibilities

Employee Relations

  • Support day-to-day HR needs for both in office and remote employees
  • Conduct new hire orientation to ensure new team member receives an in depth onboarding experience that immerses them into our culture and aligns them with company goals
  • Assist management with the investigation and resolution of employee issues while maintaining confidentiality
  • Respond to unemployment claims, represent the company at unemployment hearings and mitigate risks
  • Conduct exit interviews and review survey responses to identify and address trends 

 

Recruiting

  • Partner with hiring managers to develop a deep understanding of assigned positions to include required skills, experience, competencies and job profile preferences 
  • Evangelize our referral program, as well as implement effective networking and sourcing strategies to attract a diverse talent pool
  • Manage requisitions through our ATS to track hiring activity and report on recruiting metrics
  • Utilize behavioral based interviewing questions to conduct phone screens and present qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Foster a positive and professional candidate experience by providing prompt follow up and feedback throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Make recommendations to hiring managers to influence the best hiring decision and negotiate and close job offers
  • Coordinate onboarding with the hiring manager to ensure every new member of our team gets a remarkable experience as they join our company

Qualifications

Your qualifications include…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in employee relations and recruiting of corporate positions
  • Charisma to develop business relationships and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Discretion to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Tech savvy; proficient with Microsoft Office suite and applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
